How much more heavenly delight can a $1,000+ brush do to your face?

In that particular case you're not only paying for hair quality but also for handle material - a similar HMW knot in a horn handle would cost you about 1/3. Oh, and if you choose the Size 20 you may be even more surprised. Smile

When you could buy it from Simpsons, the brush was £260 with shipping. The brush is gone for good, and is being sold at €325 with shipping. £260 today = €325 so it's not like he's trying to make a profit, just getting back his original investment. That is not unheard of for an LE, nor unreasonable.

That may very well not be the case, Doug. Assuming chrissss's info is correct, and he is in Belgium, he paid £310.08 for the brush (£249,95 + 20% VAT + shipping), which is to say €387, so he's out €62 with the sale.

On the other hand, he may have decided on a sale price of €325 because that's pretty much what a Non-EU customer would pay when buying the brush directly from Simpsons... but this is just me guessing. Smile
