Has anyone tried the Nail Laurel Cedar? I received a sample; it smells great. Manuel said he does not plan to make more because it is a slow seller.

Also, I know it is kind of subjective, but can someone tell me what the Eastern Breeze smells like?

Thanks much....

Laurel I understand. Cedar I understand. But what is nail and what does it smell like? (Figure he doesn't mean clavo.)

Mountain smells "fresher" but Sierra smells "warmer". That's the best I can do!

Dr. Dulucama described Violatas as Parma Violets http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parma_Violets and he is spot on. Which is only helpful if you've tried Parma VIolets...

So how many scents are there, and who can name them? I figure if I make an order I might as well get at least 3-4+ to make the shipping worth while.

Violetas is indeed a beautiful scent, however I think Manuel doesn't currently have it in stock, unfortunately.

I've received an e-mail from him today with the current available soaps:

Without lanolin:
- Vetiver-Citrus
- Lavender

With lanolin:
- Ylang Ylang-Patchouli-Orange
- Wet Earth
- Eastern Breeze
- Citrus
- Roses
- Floral

I hope this helps.

I was curious about this one also. This is the best information I can find is it contains myrrh-nail (clove?)-cardamom.

I got that from this post: http://shavenook.com/thread-jabonman-soa...#pid102051

I got a sample of the lime + cinnamon. Those two compliment each other much better than you might guess.

JabonMan are superior soaps ... well worth the price.

Tierra Humeda is my all-time favorite scent.
Tierra Humeda is not only the nicest vetiver scent I've found its one of the best shaving soap scents period.

As for the lather, I think its one of the best lathering soaps around. Slick and protective and leaves my face feeling great. I will be buying some again.

can someone PM me with Manuel's contact information.

I'm going to see if he has any plans to make a shaving cream.

Thanks, Ravi.

I spoke to Manuel and asked him if it was OK to publish his e-mail address on the public forums. He was fine with it. Here's Manuel's e-mail information: magafe_es@yahoo.es

That said, I also asked Manuel if he made shaving creams in addition to his soaps. I believe he said yes (I think he was using a translator to read my message and reply back in English). I wrote back for him to confirm. I'll let everyone know when I hear back.
