I agree with Celestino about the strength level of the scents.

Nick, my opinion is subjective and you may not find the scents to be as strong as I have indicated, but they are quite robust (strong). Manuel's soaps aren't usually weak in scents.

Nikos, Some are stronger than others but there is none below 6/7 for my nose.

Just ordered Vetiver and Rose Oud,

Living far from Manuel, it will be 2 or 3 weeks before I receive those soap.

Those will mark as the 14th and 15th soaps I got from him. Expensive stuff! But I do enjoy using them when it is up for rotation.

So far all the soap, their scent is still there, other than Sandolo where the scent changed quite significantly.

Can't wait for Rose Out, sometime I lather Rosa Bourbon and Agarwood at the same time  Biggrin

For the past few weeks, I have had the pleasure of trying a new tallow base from Manuel of Eufros JabonMan soaps. Well, I'm pleased to say that this new base is now in production and is currently available in scents of Tobacco, Ylang-Ylang, Dama de Noche, Fougère, Zanzibar, and an improved Rosa-Oud. I believe Vetiver-Oud and Kasbah will be following shortly.

The new tallow base has the same hardness in the container as that of the previous formulation. The soap is quite thirsty, but when fully hydrated, produces a dense lather with slightly less volume than before. The lather is shiny and has a resemblance to Greek yogurt. Slickness is superb, as is the post-shave feel. As of yet, I have not seen the ingredients list, but the product performance is unquestionably right up there with the current best.

I've just purchased Tobacco, Dama de Noche and Rosa-Oud.

Edit... Manuel has just confirmed ingredients. The new base contains the same as before(stearic acid, tallow, coconut oil, shea butter, lanolin, jojoba, linseed), but in different proportions, plus the addition of cotton oil, sweet almond oil and rosehip.

Thanks for the update David.  Manuel is a perfectionist.  His soap base was already among the best available, yet he tweaked it to make it better.  His Rosa-Oud was excellent, yet he sent me an email earlier this year stating that he wasn't completely happy with it and was working on improving the scent.  I'm looking forward to trying the new base, as well as the new versions of Rosa-Oud and Tobacco.  I tried a sample of his Kasbah, and that's also excellent and on my list of his scents to acquire.

Ricardo, I certainly cannot fault the original Rosa-Oud, either, so also curious to compare.

Good to read that Manuel has Tobacco up and running again. One of my favorites from him among others for sure. Pairs really well with Alt Innsbruck in my opinion.
