So my wife found this in an antique
store and picked it up since the stand and handle colors matched. [Image: ebajatar.jpg]

It's a stanley and the bristles are definitely tiered. I just cleaned it and it looks good and didn't lose any hair at all.

I was planning on trying to refurbished it with a new knot and clean it up, but i figured I would ask for advice.

Is that an original color or is it an oxidized ivory? I like the butterscotch.

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Nice find! We have lots of brush guys here and as many opinions on whether to restore or re-knot. Personally, I'd leave that one alone as it's a nice original set and the knot looks to be in good shape. Either way, enjoy!
