We are in Denver and I am pleased that my cousin, who I haven't seen since mid-70s, has asked questions about wet shaving!
So I did the decent thing and bought him some goodies to try our passion.
I sent him back to Florida with goodies from a local L'Occitane store and offered him a choice of one of my creams... he chose the Taconic Tequila Lime Biggrin

I also have positive news from my bro. .. he has been using the Slim adjustable razor.
I gave him a new jar of Dapper Dragon signature scent, and our very own Steam Punk Cool

Nice.

I've been working on my father this year. When I started, he would share stories about enjoying his shaves w/ the DE and such, but always said he didn't want to go back to it.

Once I started making soap, of course they wanted to try. So for Christmas Sonya made him a scuttle and I hooked him up w/ 8oz of Ice Wyrm and a WSP boar. He's been loving it.

For father's day we gave him the EJ DE86 (the black one). He's been enjoying that, too.

Re-indoctrination: accomplished.

Excellent!
Thank you all for the kind words and news of your own experiences
Biggrin

Tonight at a family cookout, courtesy of my sister's boyfriend hosting, and my brother's cooking, I gave my sister my new Edwin Jagger Chatsworth Synthetic brush and a puck of Dapper Dragon Cinnamon Bun.

She loved it!
I demonstrated how to lather it up with the brush on our hand/arms.
Then I showed her how to rinse it out.

Cool

The only person I have enabled is my fiance, and she still regards it as a pain. Unfortunately none of my friends are very interested in the old ways. They are the "new and improved types" (chuckle snort)
