Following up on my review of Steampunk, I am now posting a link that I received today from Xenia Trost, Co-Head of 1000&1 Seife (Soaps). They are the manufacturers of our very own Steam Punk Shaving Soap.
I thought many of you might be interested in there very basic and simple manufacturing process. There is a list of ingredients on the caption of the first picture, and then there is a pictorial of their manufacturing process.
Here is the translated email I received from Frau Trost:
Dear Mr. Levitt,
Thank you for your email and please excuse that I only answer today! I have at the moment a lot of work because we will be moving our soap business in August to a new address.
But I am very pleased at your interest in our shaving soaps.

To prepare, I have made a series of photos (30 images) which you can see here:

I use Google Chrome and there is an option to translate the webpage on the righthand side.

Translate first and the captions will also be translated.

Awesome, thanks for the post Primo. From the pics, it looks like pure butter than a soap lol.

I just now read this thread and enjoyed the slide show a lot. This makes me want some of this soap even more than I wanted some of it when I watched Tieste's video on how to lather it. I'm going to try to decide which of the scents I might like, which seems to be a gamble which I rarely win. My nose doesn't always appreciate these fragrances as much as some of the luckier or more sophisticated guys.
