I haven't tried any you state other than Osage Rub. It's cold! It makes my eyes water, but I love it! It doesn't have much skin care though, so I added some glycerine and it's wonderful. Cheap too!

Do I understand that "Fine" aftershaves has an aftershave named "Frostbite"?

No.

I suspect the OP is referring to Fine Snake Bite ... or Krampert's Frostbite.

You need to add Krampert's Frostbite to your list, IMHO. It is one of my favorites. I have Osage rub, but not the other two.

Thanks Gents.

HTGAM? (so many acronyms) But since the 'net is a visual (spelled) social event that spelling doesn't bother me even a little bit.

I thought I did my homework on the name, and I was concerned that I hadn't been as thorough as I should have, or that Fine hadn't.

Definitely need to add Krampert's Finest Frostbite your list.

It's a must try. I do like Osage too, though mostly after my shower from a hot run. But Krampert's is definitely better smelling to me than Osage by far.

Krampert's Frostbite is #1 ... Very cold, but not ridiculous to the point of beig uncomfortable for more than maybe a couple seconds for sensitive folk. The skincare is great too, being a splash that doesn't require any balm afterwards like many drying plashes out on the market. Again, Highly recommended! JUST SHAKE THE BOTTLE LIKE IT JUST STOLE FROM YOU(for 30 seconds)Tongue

Krampert's Frostbite is the coldest I've tried. I emailed them to see if the 80 Below would ever resurface... no reply.

Snakebite is my go-to AS. Nice & cool, and it doesn't linger too long. Great results day after day...

Have a bottle of Osage on the way. No expectations, just hoping it's 'good enough' so I'll use it up vs set it aside.

Sorry about the no reply. You probably went through the website. I still haven't gotten that working since the computer change.

However, the horses butt who runs that outfit can be reached through this site. Biggrin If you don't understand, just read my signature below.

80 Below will never be seen again. It was a one time run of 20 some odd bottles and if memory serves 20 numbered bottles were sold.

You can also make you favorite aftershave a face freezer by adding menthol crystals to it.

The first time I tried it was with a bottle of witch hazel. Put a few to many (like 15) and I started to tear up.

Osage Rub aka the Rubby Dubby Doo is absolutely frigid - mind you, so is Alcolado Glacial aka The Penguin.

Thank you.

What artisan doesn't like hearing that folks like what we make?

Yes, the double hit of cold is definitely an eye opener; in a good way of course. Unless one is dressed so as to get frostbite the application of Frostbite won't induce it synergistically with the temperature. The cold from Frostbite is an illusion.
