Rooney's are being restocked at various online stores. I haven't seen any Heritage 2 bands yet though.

That's good to hear, especially if they're planning on releasing a full lineup of two band heritageAngel

What's really strange is I just read a couple of days ago on another forum that Rooney had completely dissolved?!?! There were links to some official looking sites that stated they were dissolved as of yesterday! Tongue
Here are the main links:
https://opencorporates.com/companies/gb/06615558
and
https://opencorporates.com/officers?butt...=%E2%9C%93

-Morris and Forndran did this back in 2011 evidently...and then was resurrected by Lee Sabini...I think the company "Morris and Forndran" is still considered dissolved? So maybe this is the same situation with Rooney now? Not sure how this all works in the U.k. One side note is that Lee Sabini is also listed as Director/secretary for Rooney?!?!

I love my Style 2 small Rooney. It would be a shame if they went away.

Old news, but Lee Sabini owns the M&F brand and still has close ties with Rooney.

I remember Mark W. mentioning it a few months back...I still find the matter confusing especially the fact that today is the same day that retailer's add new long awaited stock, and Rooney "dissolves". I guess as in the past with M&F, this date doesn't really mean anything regarding Rooney's ability to make brushes made with their name Huh

I think trying to divine Rooney's status via their corporate filings is a fool's errand unless you know UK corporate law. In the US just because a public corporation dissolves it doesn't mean that it's no longer in business. It could mean that the corporation no longer wants to be publicly traded, which seems like Rooney's M.O.

My Rooney 2XL Heritage is one of the finest brushes I've ever owned. I'm glad to see that they are showing signs of life.

+1... they can't come out with the 2 band heritage soon enough.

I really wish they'd do a beehive in the 2XL size/density combo. I have an Emillion and the density isn't quite there for me. Great brush but it shines more with the creams rather than the hard soaps. The beehive knots are similarly "sparse" in my opinion. But what a design.

That would be interesting combination, but it sounds more like a contact Lee type project.

I think each of you would back me if I tried to make the case that no set is complete without a beehive, right?

that's a brush envy generating picture!

have to build up the courage and stamina to start that game called 'will Lee answer back!' But will build the collection elsewhere.. namely when the type of Rooney i like becomes commercially available Tongue

thanks for the heads up that they're coming back, I can't wait for that to happen, especially the 2 band gems.. more variety must be added Angel

I think you hit the nail on the head Josh...this info doesn't mean anything conclusive regarding Rooney and their brush manufacturing. I do really like the brand and hope they continue in the brush making business. IMO Rooney represents a high quality manufacturer with classic designs and very nice knot options, especially in the past when they had even more variety. I would love to see them continue to grow as one of the oldest(if not oldest) well respected maker's of top shelf brushes.

What a lovely shot of M&F's!!! A Beehive would top it off nicely!

Yep, definitely a beehive would make the group complete. My dream is a Heritage 2 band 3XL (30/50).
