Travel handle broken down
[Image: WW2mVyX.jpg]

Bob's personal Progress that he reworked. I have the original box and Bakelite clam shell as well. The existing knob has the magnet in the bottom and he included a cocobolo piece as well. He said this was from the '78-'83 era but couldn't remember the exact year he bought it. I will say it is a bit heavier than modern day Progresses I've held.

I have traded about half of my BRW collection but I still have several wood and metal handles as well as a Custom Futur handle that looks like the new improved.

Fantastic collection. Congratulations and use them well. I once had a BRW black custom handle but foolishly sold it years ago.

Unfortunately I never had the pleasure of doing business with Bob but I drool over his work eveytime I see it. The Merkur Progress with the Mastiff handle definately catches my eye along with many others. I don't think anyone could take his place but I hope other artists will come along soon.
