So I've now had 5 shaves with my E2 and 3 shaves with my I1. What great shaves they've been. I thought I had been getting really great shaves with my DE razors, but the ones I get now are so much better.

The E does give me a better shave than the I, just a little, but I do get a little irritation from it. Not enough to stop using it though. The I is better for those quick shave days.

The only real down side to the injectors, compared to my DEs, is the smoothness of the shaves. My DEs are much smoother. I still get some tugging with the injectors. I've been using the Chinese Schicks, but I'll order some other blades and try them out as well. I wish there were the variety of injector blades like there is for DE blades.

Either way, I'm very happy I took the chance and bought that E2!

Glad to hear it! While I never got bit by the injector bug I did get a few good shaves from them. I can see why people would really love them.

I have had very good luck with the Chinese Schick blades in my E-model. I get a fantastic 2-pass shave with this combination.

Enjoy those injectors. Smile

I've been getting great shaves with my injectors! Love them! I find myself preferring the J or L types over my G types. Love the I series as well. Gosh, I think I'm smitten with injectors

My E3 gives me some of the closest shaves of all the razors I use. I absolutely love it.

Buddingshaver, IME the only SE razors that are as smooth as my open comb DE's (or smoother) are Schick or Pal injectors. I have given up on my EverReady and Pal SE razors. JMO, YMMV. I use Schick injector blades that are, I believe, made in China.

Used my E3 for yesterday's shave. Two passes was all it took. Wonderful little jewel.

I love my G-4, too. I've been using the Chinese blades in it. It is a permanent fixture in my rotation.

@guzziknight - every time I see your name it twists the knife a little. I'm waiting for my kids to finish college so I can get my V7.......Rolleyes

guzziknight, follow step 4 below and you will get extremely smooth shaves, every time. Bought my first Guzzi in 1972 and sold my last one in 2005. Great bikes.

The V7 Stone or a Bonnie is my next bike. Now just have to find a way to afford one.
