Bryan, some great photos of my native city. There truly is no other place quite like it and you caught its pulse beautifully.

Great head shave, by the way. Thumbsup

Thanks everyone. It was a blast Smile

My problem with photography is that I want to share every photo I take lol. I need to learn to highlight my "best" shots and only display those. I'm having a hard time narrowing those down.

I took about 900 shots over the weekend so my sample size doesn't seem too bad but you lose people's attention after a certain amount.

Unfortunately no. We arrived in NYC via Grand Central and stayed on foot the entire day.

There were two reasons I really wanted to see NYC. One was Pasteur Pharmacy. Second was Adoroma and B&B Photo. The latter were closed on Saturday, the one day we were there

Bryan, I am sort of surprised you didn't know that. Even their web site is closed. B&B Photo is run by religious Jews who scrupulously observe Sabbath, which for Jews is sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. I sincerely hope you get a chance to go back as the place is amazing. Just be aware that it may be very crowded.

As you can tell, I assumed without looking. Fail.

Weather aside, I'd rather live there than L.A., Houston, Phoenix, or any other number of places I can think of. However, I think I'll stay right where I am. Biggrin

Great photos that help capture the heartbeat of NYC. I agree with John, a nice place to visit, but it is WAY to big for little old me. I have spent a small fortune at B&H Photo over the years and did have a chance to visit there the last time I was in NYC.
