I am happy to announce that BullGoose Shaving will be a stockist and the North American distributor for the Grooming Co. Synthetic Shaving Brushes.

The Grooming Co. brushes have been receiving a lot of attention on the shaving forums and are known for their new generation of synthetic badger that provides excellent backbone and soft tips that can handle whatever you throw at it.

I received a partial shipment today that will likely sell out quickly. Never fear though, I have a large shipment with all of the handle colors that should arrive in three weeks or so.

To me, that's the best synthetic brush in the market today.

Great news Phil, I've been admiring these since some of our Brazilian members started putting them in their SOTD photos. Thanks for bringing these to the US, I can't wait to try one !!

What Phil said. I have 3 The Grooming Co brushes and it's outstanding. The backbone is fantastic and is denser than Plisson. In my opinion it's the best synthetic brush in wet shaving.

The hair looks quite similar to the Plisson, just lower lofted and perhaps a touch denser. Can anyone speak to the similarities/differences in the hair itself that have both?

hi Claudio ! can you compare these brushes to the Plisson synths. does these splay like Plisson, coz i don't like springiness in my synthetic brush.

The differences between Plisson and The Grooming Co are:

1)Loft -Plisson is higher than TG ((Plison - 53mm and TGco - 50mm)
2) Density - TGCo is denser than Plisson and have more backbone.
3) Knot - TGco have a 25mm knot and Plisson a 23mm knot.
4) Both have very soft tips. Wonderful to face lathering.
5) The fibers are the same...I didn't see any difference between the brushes.

For me, TGCo is the best synthetic brush...Biggrin
