The fact that Penhaligon's launched a new male fragrance is interesting in itself, but in this case it seems particularly appealing because it's entitled "The Gentlemen’s Grooming Range from Penhaligon’s."

Penhaligon’s first ever comprehensive Grooming Range to fulfill the everyday needs of a modern gentleman. The extensive range has been created to ensure every aspect of the grooming routine has been catered for. Scented with the zesty and invigorating aroma of Bayolea. The fragrance is a reformulation of a classic from our archive.

Bayolea opens with refreshing mandarin, and lemongrass, giving way to an invigorating and warming heart of cardamom, black pepper and lavender, and resting on a resolutely masculine base of cedar, sandalwood, musk and moss.

There's EdT, Shaving Soap in Bowl, Soothing Balm and Soothing Gel, apart from the usual Body Wash, Deodorant, etc.

Considering it's a new product, the shaving soap's formula should be the same as the one in the reformulated Sartorial... And so I'm hoping for great things.

The site also shows a pic of shaving cream, but it's not listed when you look at the full range. Hopefully that's coming soon, too.

Let's dive into that a little more. Which products will be available mid August. Edt, cream, shaving soap?

Damn, Penhaligon's really took the "Gentlemen’s Grooming Range" seriously this time. Cool

BTW, I contacted Penhaligon's regarding the formula of this new shaving soap:

I can confirm that Bayolea is the same formulation as Sartorial and Blenheim bouquet. There should be no difference but only the scent.

I have to say I'm really looking forward to trying this one.

And that is just what I am carrying. They also have beard oil and moustache wax

I'm sure I read an original release on this, touting it as a bay rum fragrance, mixed along with other scents. But there's no mention of that now. Confusing.

Very intriguing. But then, I'm a fan of Penhaligon's. Besides their Blenheim Bouquet, I also like the Opus 1870 scent.

Don't like Sartorial and Endymion? They're my favourites. Smile

Endymion is the best; a perfect fall and winter scent.

Pen's is my favorite of all brand name soaps. The scents as all wonderful. And while nothing compares to their old tallow soap, their latest formula is a winner again.
