Received a new razor today and with it came a box of these:

[attachment=2242]
"7 am" blades.

I've used these:
[attachment=2240]
and these:
[attachment=2241]
Gillette 7 O'Clock (Super Platinum & Sharp Edge)

But I've never tried the "7 am" before.

Has anyone else used them?

Is it a decent blade?

The "Hi Platinum" makes me think of Feathers, though personally I have never tried these Gillettes.

I'm pretty sure this "7 am" is NOT Gillette, where as the "7 O'Clock" is...

Never heard of them.

Where are they made?

I hadn't heard of them either, hence my question.

I'll do some research!

Almost sounds and looks like a cheap knock-off, but they might be great blades for all I know.

I got them free with something, but I can remember what. I PIF`d them in a massive blade pack on B&B.

I'm not gonna try it, you try it. I know, let Mikey try it!

I'm brave enough to try them, just wanted to be prepared for what I might be in for...

Thanks John, I believe that's the one (or close enough)!

Manufactured by Samah Razor Blades Industries Limited in Bangladesh.

I tried these once and could only get through a single pass. Horrible blade for me. They're definitely not Gillette. They're made in Bangladesh.

On second thought, maybe I'm not so brave...

Go ahead and try them. The worst that can happen is they tug like hell and you pitch it. Some folks actually like them. Not many, but some.

From Super Iridium" to tug like hell? I almost knew they weren't for me right from the start when I read "7 am" - I shave at 6 am!

I wonder if the different time zone needs to be taken into account?

Back when I bought my first DE off Ebay I ordered a hundred of the 7am's, I think I still have sixty of them. At first they didn't work for me too well, now I can get 2-3 shaves from one before I switch blades. They aren't a bad blade but I've used better.

This was one of the lowest ranking blades when I did my testing.
I was not impressed with the 7 A.M.
