With the hype surrounding the release of Dr Harris Windsor, rather than trashing an email from them I decided to read it.

I learnt that Dr Harris has released a Limited Edition Arlington Soap Shaving Bowl.

[attachment=2251]

This Limited Edition version of the popular Arlington soap comes in a black shaving bowl with the company's stylized initials in the lid. Each piece has been numbered and the edition is limited to 1000.

Anyone been tempted?

Before you rush to buy one, it's 1/3 more in cost compared to the regular wood bowl...

The black wooden bowl is nice, but I'm not tempted. My D.R. Harris Arlington sits in one of their Mahogany wooden bowls which I prefer over the black version.

I saw that on their site yesterday WTF! Just another money grab, imo

Not worth it to me, wouldn't match anyway.

Saying that, I should probably add, I have the 3 other bowls with only Arlington to compete the set so for me, it's perfect timing.

I can already feel the knives stabbing me in the back. I do not like D.R. Harris Arlington. Now, I might give their new Windsor a try.

No knives from me, Johnny - I'm not a big fan of the sweet scent. Confused

You have the other 3 in Black LE Bowls? if that is the case and you want to match them, go for it.

I have the 4 in the Mahogany and Beech at the regular pricingBiggrin

No, 3 beach of all exept Arlington which I don't have at all.

It's only £10 difference compared to the normal so it's neither here or there.

Funny how that difference goes /\ instead of \/Wink

I'd get one of the regular bowls and a refill with the difference.

That sounds nice, did it come supplied as such from Dr Harris, or is this your own modification? I have some MdC that came supplied in glass ramekins.

Nope, just a little glass cup I originally bought for making flan. They have snap on lids and fit a refill of Arlington almost perfectly.
