If so, mind sharing some quality resume layouts/tips?

my resume is rather old and could probably use some updating in terms of formatting.

Keep it simple ... no more than 2 pages.
Concise and pertinent.

Perhaps even one page is best?

Also, more formal business style, yet concise here:

My pleasure!
Wish you the best, I just updated my own and found it quite a time consuming job.

The last resume I wrote was 26 years ago, though I wrote dozens prior to that. Not planning on writing another!

The Joan E. Jobseeker resume is a great example, quite a bit like the ones I have built in the past.

Don't be afraid to build yourself up. Your prospective employer wants to know your skills, accomplishments and values. BUT BE HONEST!!!

There was one trick I used on most all of my resumes: I used an off-white color of paper cut just a tiny bit larger than standard 8 1/2" x 11". I don't know how much that helped, but I was after any advantage I could give myself

Good luck with your job search.
