When Brian (Shadowdad) posted pictures of his new shave cabinet he built I really liked the idea. I was out of room with the space I had and a similar cabinet would fit great in the wall space I had available. I had no ability to build it myself but luckily my dads a pro. I showed him pics of Brian's cabinet and his explanation of building it. I really liked the idea of the adjustable glass shelves and they were included in mine. It's now finished and on the wall next to my nook. It turned out great, my dad did an amazing job. Thanks to Brian for the great idea also. The approximate dimensions are 30" tall, 18" wide and 8" deep. The cabinet is made of red oak.

I can't get over the color of that wood!

Did he give it some light stain?

Yes Brian he did stain it. I really like the color as well. My wife's only request was that it wasn't to dark and she was very happy with the results too.
