I picked up this sweet little razor off the bay for $39, 11/16 full hollow. I can't resist razors of this shape. All I really know is that it was made in Germany. It's looking good after some minor clean up, and a little honing. I'll tell you how she shaves in the morning.

That looks good. I am in the same boat, can't resist a shoulderless blade with thumb notch.

Yes there's something very nice about the shoulderless design with the rounded thumb notch very pleasing on the eye. :-)

Beautiful blade and scales. Max Sprecher recently restored an Antelope, it doesn't look as nice as yours and I know it had to cost a heck of a lot more than $39. 24

I am with Jamie, I love a good thumb notch and a shoulder-less design.

Thanks, Doug. And it shaved as well as it looks this morning, nearly as well as a couple of customs. Go figure.

Hi,

That is nice. I like the thumb grip with jimps. Are those genuine faux wood scales or the real McCoy?

Looks like there is a crack in the wood, I am guessing it's the real mccoy.

Fantastic looker and performer for the money spent. I never find deals like that.

A great find, congratulations. I also am a sucker for that blade style.
