That looks very promising. Would enjoy being able to use the feather/kai blade with different handles. I was unable to find an actual website or any direct from the creator information.

I am not a Facebook user, but my kind friend joined a Facebook group called "razor and brush" and found the info. It is being made by a gentleman named Bruce Weber, though a different Mr. Weber than the one of the popular DE razors. At this point I do not believe there is a website (or like you I have been unable to find it).

Thanks for the info, depending on price this might end up in my rotation, found the King cobra somewhat too expensive (not the razor but shipping + taxes and custom handling fees).

Will do, WARHAWK, but I hope others that may know more will comment. I am hoping Bullgoose will get his hands on some so I have cause to visit his store...as if I need a good reason. ; )

Very cool. Can't wait to see what the price point on this razor is, and read some of the reviews on it.

Thanks for sharing...

Great news. I'll play if the pricing is in the Cobra ballpark.

In particular the Indian grey mongoose of southern Asia's ability to take down the venomous cobra makes these exciting times indeed.

Design looks great, versatility should make this a preferred design (granted the shaves are nice). I have never used this style of blade (only the old injectors), how much do the blades usually cost?

$19 for 20 blades is average for the Kai Mild or Feather Pro. I can double the shaves out of them compared to the DE Blades.

My only addition to what eengler noted is that cheaper prices can be found for Feathers. (I have never seen Kais on sale.) I have purchased the Feather Professionals for as low as $13 per pack, and recently have seen vendors offering discounts if you buy a box of 10 cartridges. Buying in bulk can bring it down to the $10 or $13 per pack range, at least for the Feather Pros and Pro-Guards.

I did the math one time and, based on the extended life I get out of these blades, the cost per blade is really a wash...unless you shave with bargain-priced blades (e.g., Derbys) when you shave with a DE. Blush
