Hello,

I have finally begun my journey into wet shaving, and have found an old New York Ever Ready 1914. However the blades I have bought (Super-Max) doesn't seem to fit it in any way. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
The shaver came with a single original blade, which is just like those I have bought, so I can't get that to fit either. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Those are Double edged blades. You need Single edge blades.

Yikes, that doesn't sound good, I can't find such blades anywhere...
Except if it would be these, perhaps? http://www.proshave.dk/derby-professiona...0-stk.aspx

I see... Any idea where to get those in Europe? I'm in Denmark and it'll cost me 40 dollars to get those Treet blades shipped to me.

PM with your address and I will mail you a couple of GEM single edge blades so you can try shaving with your 1914 without having to buy a whole pack of blades Wink
