The Blade Bank...

I've got one of these from Phil...

[attachment=2302]

Inexpensive, highly functional, safe, responsible, recyclable...
and completely UNINSPIRING!

I'm not criticising this product in anyway,
and I'll purchase another when I next place an order with Phil,
but I know there's more exciting ones out there!

Show me your blade bank...

Ben, here's mine. Rolleyes

Seriously, it's hard to beat the function and price. I'm still filling one I bought over a year ago, maybe two.

24 I totally agree, but I'm hoping to see something more creative! I know they're out there...

I use a mint tin. With dry hands it is not difficult t open and close, and so far I haven't dropped it or any blades.

I just use a soda can with a slit punched in it. I keep it under the sink and toss it in the recycling bin every month or two

I use a nut container. It fits nicely in the cabinet and by my estimate, will fit about a year of DE trash.

Prescription pill bottle - when it's full I'll glue the lid shut and throw in the metal recycling. Totally uninspiring to look at though, so I am pondering other options.

My bank is an old EJ cream tub with a slit and the lid superglue'd.

I have one of those blade banks but mine is painted with Feather's logo.

Now that's what I was waiting to see! And the inspiration for this thread. I spied this converted money box in your "my nook/collection" thread earlier. Thanks for the close picks!

Dandy Dan's black hat screws off - there's enough room inside to accommodate the next 20 years' of my used blades!

We visited London as my oldest wanted to make a class presentation about this great place. My youngest wanted this as a souvenir and after we arrived home she told me she thought it would look cool in my shave den. I instantly saw my new blade bank.
The idea is that any money/penny box would do. So, next holiday instead of cards or key chains get your "blade bank" souvenir.

I am just a boaring old fart. Seven blades out, seven blades in, then in the garbage.
