I am starting to think that I have the MdC Fougere although I ordered the classic.

In all the pics the classic looks more orange (the wrapper) than the Fougere which is more green. Mine looks green in person but gets an orange tint when photographed.

Any definitive way of telling? Please help me Smile

On the bottom where it has the label with ingredients you will see it say simply aroma if it's the original. If Fougère it will say aroma Fougère.

Thanks. It does say just aroma.

Smells very much like Le Pere Lucien which others compared closely to the Fougere.

I have the classic version which smells pretty similar to Le Pere Lucien. I don't have the fougere version to compare it with.

When you smell them side by side there is no mistaking which one is the original.

I think it's the other way around...Le Pere Lucien & Martin De Candre Original scent smell similar...But I think Martin De Candre Fougere is mostly compared to other Fougere scents.

Does Le Pere Lucien Make a Fougere scent??? I haven't caught wind of any Fougere coming from his kitchen but I would love to try some if LPL does have this offering!!!

I have the LPL and MdC (now I know it's the classic) and I always imagined that was what Fougere was about. Pine trees, forest, greenery smell. Can't imagine how the MdC fougere will add more

The L'Original it's carton/paper wrapper is yellow-brownish/ khaki. Very herbal smell, not green.

That's what confuses me.. Herbal or herbs is greenery in a sense.

If it smells similar to LPL it's the original scent, not fougere.

Original is on the left and the label is a tan colored label, Fougere on the right has a light green colored label.
