Thumbing through the net again ran into this, looks like Mark is asking about what handle types would one like to see if he sources genuine horn..

I would say.. M7, Tulip, Persian Jar and Chubby shapes.. think a Tulip would be very special as you don't see it that often.

You read my mind refles... A Tulip in genuine horn would definitely be an incredible looking brush! I would love to get my hands on something like that

Specifically a 2 band M7 in horn, a 2 band Chubby 2, and a 2 band Duke 3. Oh yes, I would be quite chuffed.

The P8 would be my choice and with the same size knot in best as the ShaveNook LE came with.

Pretty much all the brushes Simpson's brushes would look great in horn, but I believe Astor, M7 or Tulip would look particularly good, although I'm guessing the M7 and Tulip would be harder to make due to the shape.

Is this going to be Buffalo Horn or Cow Horn ??

If Buffalo horn due too it's colour and shading from Black to Brown I would choose either the Astor or M7

If on the other hand Cow Horn Colour Beige /Brown/Green I would recommend
The Duke D3 or the Emperor

What do I know.............

Oh, I want to see the M6 and P8 remain TSN exclusives. It's quite an honor for the site to have two iconic handles only available with our engraving. Sadly this does of course limit the total number which will ever be out there.

Duke 3 and M7...

The Astor was a special edition re-release for Simpson's 90th birthday. I think the handle should be saved for Simpson's 100th birthday.
