I have a few vintage single edge razors that I'm not going to use any more. From left to right, they are a Gem 1912, a Gem Push Button, an Ever-Ready, and a Star. All are in good condition. I'll send one to you for $5, to cover my packaging and postage costs. Only one per member, preferably those who have not used a SE before, and CONUS only please.

John, this is great of you to help introduce SE shaving to someone.

John,

Very kind of you. I've never tried an SE, but have been listening to "The Brians" rave so I thought I might try one.

I have no idea which to choose. I like a slightly more aggressive razor if that helps. I would appreciate your opinion.

I will pay shipping. Please PM me your PP info. or send me an invoice and I'll get that to you right away.

Thanks again.

Well, I'll defer to the Brians as to which is most aggressive. In my own limited experience, the 1912 is probably the "least passive" of these four. I'll send you a PM, and you can let me know if you want it, or you can wait to see what the Brians have to say. Thanks.

The 1912 has been claimed by Randy. The others are still available.

OK, nobody has claimed the Gem Push Button or the Star, so the PIF now is open to anyone, including those with SE razors already. But I would prefer it if you don't already have the model you want me to send.

I can't believe these are still unclaimed. Apparently no one is interested in trying SE shaving.

Send me a PM telling me whether you want the Gem Push Button or the Star, and I'll give you my PayPal info for the $5 packing/shipping.

Sorry, all I have left now is the Push Button, which is mild and has a plastic handle. The Star is gone.

John,

I've received my 1912 in excellent shape. I'm extremely appreciative of your kindness in helping me get started with SE shaving.

Also, thank you for the Gem blades! Now I just have to be sure I'm loading the razor correctly...Tongue

Got it today. It's puurrdy.
A bit heavier then I expected for such a little thing.
Will pick up blades tomorrow and give her a try this weekend.
