Hello. I hope Phil sees this input. I intend it to be positive, not a complaint.

When I go to the home page and sign in, the "User CP" box on the left side tells me that there are X number of new posts and also Y number of new threads; this is followed by a link to read all new posts, and then another link to read all of today's posts. Rather than sifting through X number of posts or search for icons showing new threads (laborious!), how about creating a link to go to new threads directly -- perhaps after the link pointed to new posts. I would find this to be helpful and efficient, and imagine that other Shave Nookers may feel the same way.

Thanks for considering this recommendation. Otherwise, I love the site! Great work! Cool

In the UserCP box, I am suggesting addition of a link to new threads (not new posts) since last visit. Sorry if the original message was not sufficiently clear. Thanks for looking at this.

I believe you are referring to the UserCP section on the Portal Page.

You want a link added that says "View New Threads". Am I correct.

I'll have to see if it's possible to add a 'get new threads' option.

Can any of these things be added to the mobile version or do we pretty much have as much as possible with this one already? I'm not downing the mobile version, I actually like it a lot & I'm on it the most. I just don't know what it's capable of & what it isn't.

Thanks for your hard work & I look forward to seeing if I can notice anything with the update.

it can, but then it would start to detract from the purpose of the mobile theme: to be fast and minimalistic for browsing while on a phone. I don't plan on adding anything to the mobile theme, to be honest.

I don't see it. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Johnny - I found it in the blue stripe area running horizontally above the "User CP" box.

To Andrewjs18 - thanks for all your hard work in putting this together. I appreciate it.

it depends on the theme you're using. if you're using the luxure theme, click on your username at the top right and you should see the option there called 'view new threads'.

if you're using ace navy, it's on the blue strip area where it shows the option for user cp, mod cp, log out, etc...

if you don't see it on either theme, you need to clear your browser's cache/cookies/history and try it again.
