Gentlemen,

I have used the fountain pen since childhood. Here is the link to the little essay I wrote on the fountain pen for Figlo Press, my publisher. The Pelikan fountain pen pictured is mine, resting on the first draft of the essay. Thank you for reading.

Beautifully stated, Obie. For me, writing with a fountain pen is a writing experience like no other and you expressed many of my feelings about them.

Freddy,
Thank you for the kind words, my friend. Yes, there is nothing like writing with the fountain pen. The word just looks and sounds better written with a fountain pen.

Very nice read. I enjoyed it.

I then click on the "Authors" link and read your short bio. Pretty amazing.
And you look nothing like I envisionedSmile I imagined the little kid from Mayberry RFD even though I know his name wa Opie.

Hello, Phil,

Thank you. With my striking looks, I am surprised Hollywood hasn't come after me yet.

Your essay can not be read now. I was going to read 2 or 3 paragraphs of it. But it is a goner now.

Hello,
The link was to my publisher's blog. The publisher, however, went out of business couple months ago. Now I have to find a new publisher. OY! Anyway, you can read the fountain pen essay in the blog on my website: obieyadgar.com

I'd reply with a simple, Hemingway 'no' but the computer won't let me.
