Well a little while back while talking with Bill i told Bill of my liking for a wood mostly used and seen across the other side of the pond the good old USA, well Bill said he would try and get hold of some, well the rest is history so to speak, i had been looking at a vintage Simpson 59 from the Somerset era, also 59 being the year I was born so there we have it, well all i can say is the brush turned out as you would expect from Bill perfect, with a Buckeyed Burl body with an Amber and Sterling silver insert, a super Badger 26mm knot and a 50mm loft, all that's left are the photo's.

Jamie.

Very nice. It's really good looking. The 50 series brushes have a great feel too.

Bill does excellent work. I am very impressed with his attention to detail. I've had the pleasure of communicating with him on more than one occasion and he is quite the gentleman.

Thanks for sharing another of his great works, Jamie.

Wow Jamie, what a beautiful brush.

Nice choice there Jamie. Bill is just brilliant in what he produces. A person with IMO the best skills out there when it comes to turning a brush.

It is a very soft yet still as a fair amount of backbone, it's a larger brush than i'm normally used to but i kind of like having a larger brush for using with my creams, gives me a little more option and choice.

I thought the brush on the far left was a candle holder or something. It took a moment to realize it was a brush! Very, very unique!
