Not earth shattering but the TWIST is coming in Comb bar (2013 head) and they are branding or making their own razor blades....

Thanks for posting - I just saw this on Facebook. I wonder if the R41 head is modified at all?

Nice to know, but it won't be for me. I like to use the Weber stainless bulldog on the R41. The stock handle is too slippery for me.
I wonder who is making their blades. Croma, perhaps? Bolzano?

I would definitely like to know who is making their blades and what their price will be.

That's quite likely. I just hope they don't sell for the same prices as Merkur blades.

Should be a nice razor. I know I enjoy the twist more than the regular 89.

Looks like a quality piece. Too bad they will never make a TTO, but I'm not giving up yet.

Good to see that they at least seem to be listening to their customer base. This is what a lot of people hoped the original Twist would be.

Yes, I found that the impressed knurling on the handle of the Muhle R41 to be too slippery also. The cure for me was an Ikon bulldog handle and it added needed weight to the handle too. New model is not for me either.
