Found this while the wife was perusing at Goodwill, today. Salt glazed ceramic, that fits nicely in the hand. Got it for the satisfyingly frugal price of 96 cents, and I can't wait to give it a go, in the morning!

Is there any agreement on what a good size is? Guess I'll have to keep an eye out at the local Goodwill, as I think mine's too big.

Thought I should post a pic of the new bowl, in its work clothes. Does a fine job, and is thick enough to hold some heat. I like it.

Nothing beats Goodwill! I only wish they sold vintage razors.

Brian, think Goldilocks and the three Bears. We all like different 'chairs, oatmeal and beds' @ .96 for SALT GLAZE of any size is worth it alone.
I've been eyeing whole coconuts at the store, imagining coconut soap milled into a shell Sbathroom_grooming_shaving_100-100

That's a great find. I've been looking for a functional bowl with just the right dimensions. I think I'll be hitting up stores like Goodwill. Thanks for the idea and yeah, nice bowl!
