Would you have bought it? Call me an addict; I did (in London recently). Few brushes there in the wild, and I explored deeply, let me tell you.

This is an unusual-looking old Simpsons Case, chipped, cracked and battered, loft worn away and fairly well....deceased. I didn't pay very much for it, but you can see it's missing the usual rings, and the butterscotch is a very deep hue indeed. I have it pictured below next to another butterscotch Case which has superb, fine lathing.

I wonder how old the old boy is? It's certainly looks like it had a long life. Or two.
