Right pocket-keys and a small but bright little keychain light from Energizer or Eveready, can't remember which.
Left pocket carries one of several knives. Right now, and about 90% of the time, it's a Buck 442L.
If wearing a suit, Victorionox Officer.

I don't like to carry anything in my pockets, but will grab a thin wallet and my car key when headed to the car.

I dislike things in my pockets also, but I've begun keeping a small "AA" size light in my pocket when home for peering into cabinets, walking down the hall late at night without turning on the lights and such.

Dang! I was plowing snow today and I can't find my new Manker E11 (nice light). Maybe I'll find it in the spring. So I ordered 2 more. It's the only light I own that will take any cell that is AA in size. The rest all require Li-Ion.

It's been a year since I stopped wearing jeans and started wearing long cargo pants in fall/winter and short cargo pants in spring/summer.

Right front pocket, keys
Right cargo pocket, billfold
Left cargo pocket, phone
back pockets, empty or the occasional list or receipt tucked inside
haven't carried my pocket knives since the courthouses started confiscating them a couple of decades ago

Left front, Camillus Cutlery TL-29.  Right front pocket, Springfield XDS .45.  Left Rear wallet.  Right rear, phone.  I don't wear coats even on the coldest days here in Syracuse, NY.  How can you be in the ready if you have a bulky jacket on.

When I'm home and lounging or doing light work I wear sweat pants at home in the winter. I hate things in my pockets at any time, but a few weeks ago I bought a Manker E11 LED light that I really liked and kept loose in my right pocket. I was plowing snow and afterward it was missing. Hopefully I'll find it after the snowbanks melt. But I ordered 2 replacements (yes, I liked it that much!) and they came in today, so my right pocket has a Manker E11 in it again, except this time I'm keeping it clipped to the pocket fabric.

Totally unexpected, but an online conversation came up on the Budget Light Forum and things were said... Manker came on and said that a replacement light was going to be on the way to me. So what's in my pocket is far more than the sum of the parts. Sorry, but the full explanation is far more involved than anyone wants to read or what I want to write. But the posts were all good that led up to the replacement; nothing but the highest of values IMO. Manker gets high marks from me, they certainly didn't need to do what was promised. For a budget light I have high regards for Manker, and their E11 is pretty decent too.

Usually a small flashlight, keys, money clip, pocket knife, handkerchief and pocket pen (felt tip or fountain).  Here is the other day's partial carry.
