***REVISED***
Gentlemen; recently I purchased a shaving brush from a local antique store that is simply gorgeous. I have been cleaning it and getting it up to par, but I'm having trouble on finding out what kind of hair this knot is. I'm guessing boar, but maybe horse hair??? I like to know what exactly it is that I'm using and know that I surrounded by guys here that know their stuff.

Thanks what I figured... but it's a little more soft than my other boar. It's cleaned up pretty nicely now though. Will use it in the near future. Seeking a good new brush first.
