SOLD!! Trade initiated.

Hello Everyone!

I would like to trade my brand new/never used iKon SK9 for an M and F brush (two band). I am looking for a 3XL/2XL but all offers will be considered. I am also looking for the brush to be something other than ivory (for the handle that is...butterscotch/tortoise for example).

I will also consider trades for Simpson Chubby 2/3 in two band (again, something other than ivory). I will consider adding cash to the trade if needed.

If you would like more photos please do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks for looking!

Chris

Nice razor, and I miss my S3S which had the same head, but I think a 3XL is a bit much for a trade. I just sold my 3XL for $295 a couple weeks ago.

Possibly. I saw an SK9 sell for over $400 lately on "The Bay." Not that I am asking that, but it's definitely worthy of the trade. Also, I wouldn't mind adding a few bucks to the trade if the brush was what I wanted. I just want to see what's out there/available.

Is that definitely a SK9? Not to be a pain or stickler but I'm pretty sure that is an H2O isn't it? Not that it matters, as the H2o is one of my favorite razors for mowing down a few days growth. Is the top cap aluminum or SS? Also shot in the dark, but did that razor originate from Pasteur's in NYC? Hard to find Gem...GLWTS

I believe the H2O and SK9 are the same except the SK9 has the Marine SS top plate vs aluminum on the H2O, but I could be mistaken.

What exactly is an SK9 and how is it different than the current line up of Ikon razors? Thanks!

I will give you the best answer I have and any other members can correct me if I am wrong. The iKon SK9 is a two piece razor (similar to the PILS razor in this aspect). The first piece is composed of the handle + head. The second piece is the cap that screws into the handle securing the razor blade. The bottom handle is stainless while the head of the razor is marine aluminium. The cap of the razor is also stainless.

Hope this helps!
