I have an opportunity to pick some M&F sandlewood soap but I've never heard or seen anything about it and I was wondering what members here who have tried it think about it. Not a substantial investment at the moment but I'd rather avoid it if the general consensus is negative about it. Thanks in advance.

I have heard that it is indeed great soap. I really do want to try some but haven't found someone that was willing to sell some to me. Grab some if you can so if you don't like it shoot me a message.

I believe it is a soap that some get with an order through Lee and can add on top of getting their brushes. Not sure though.

Lee often includes the Sandalwood soap with his orders. The performance of the soap is excellent, extremely easy to lather with good glide and protection. Post shave feel is fine too.
As far as I am aware, Lee doesn't supply this soap on a request and pay basis. It's complimentary to purchasing his brushes only, I believe, but I could be wrong on this point.

I've got a puck but yet to use it. It looks great but I don't want to open it as I want to use it from start to finish.

Missed it. It was on Ebay and went for less than I would have gone ($6.50!)but I got caught up elsewhere and missed the end of the auction. Oh well, I have sent an email to Lee requesting another brush, I'll ask him to add a puck to the order.

Same here. It smells great, but I've yet to crack it open. It is glycerine based, which may be deterring me a bit.
