I love the 2 Gillette New OC that I have, and they give me a better shave. But since I missed out on the Merkur 11c (not sure how good this razor is) is there any others out there that make a good two piece razor like the 11c? BTW I like the way the handle is on the Merkur 11c and the 34c HD. Any suggestions?

The 11c/12c were the only 2-piece razors in current production.
The R41/R101/R102 from Mühle are excellent 3-piece OC razors.

The Merkurs 15c/25c/41c are produced nowadays and feature the very same head than the 11c.
The only difference are the handles, and the fact that they are 3-piece razors, instead of 2-piece.

+1 If you like heavy handles, i would suggest getting a Merkur 1904/25C/15C and pairing it up with a Weber, Ikon, Bull Mastiff handle as these razor heads are very nice.

iKon is coming out sometime this year with a re-issue of generation two open comb but the end caps will cover the blade entirely. I am sure it will be 3.25 - 3.50" long weigh around 100 grams.

There's a few Ikon OSS razors floating around that are pretty darn good. Half open, half closed.

+1 , and 1 ... don't leave out the Tradere handle!
only has the weight... but some length, that seems to keep the balance not-all-handle

I'm still waiting for connaught to get the 25C back in stock so I can pick one up...although looking at the 15C, that is pretty nice too!
