Hello folks. I finally got a garage big enough to have a little shop, and my hobby (I have a day job) of choice has become the wood lathe.

My offerings to start will be shave brush handles, razor handles, both DE and cartridge, pens including fountain pens, and wine and olive bottle stoppers.

I am starting to upload items to This Etsy Shop

I will have ready an assortment of pens and stoppers, but brush handles, there is too much personal preference on size, shape, knot, loft, etc that I will have a few ready, but those will mostly be by custom order.
I am ordering 3 knots this week though.

You can choose the wood type and either send me a knot, tell me what knot to order, or I can send you the handle drilled to your specs for you to install your knot.

The same goes for pens or bottle stoppers. If you like a certain wood (or woods, I can segment the piece) we can start there.

I keep things pretty simple. You let me know what you want, I order material if I don't have it. I will take and send pics along the way to be sure we are on the same page. Once you like the finished product you make the payment and I ship with tracking.

Below are several photos of items I have made for example.

Thanks for looking!

These are available...

Here is an example of a segmented pen, it is black walnut and maple.

These will be either wine or olive bottle stoppers with either cork or stainless insert.

These are a few examples of handles I have made for myself or family members and are not available.

My pen arrived just a few days ago, and have seriously received a compliment each and every time that people have seen it. Great work, you are a true craftsman Mike.

I have added acrylics to the mix. Turned these two on the outside today.

They will be on Etsy (the rosewood is) in a few days once I get some proper pictures taken, but am pretty excited how they turned out.

All 3 including the rosewood are 22mm and the 3 knots I have are interchangeable with each. I have a Super Silvertip, Super Badger, and a High Mountain White, all TGN knots.

beautiful work, Mike!

my wife would probably like those wine/olive oil stoppers. I'll show them to her tomorrow night.
