Hi everyone -

It is with reluctance that I am putting up for sale my RazoRock DLC Coated Stainless Steel slant razor. I received this over the weekend and shaved with it ever since, and unfortunately it is just not for me. I prefer the bakelite version.

For those unaware of these razors, a while ago Joe of Italian Barber undertook to recreate an aluminum version of the bakelite slant, a rather mild and efficient version of a slant razor. In addition, he released only 100 prototypes of a stainless steel version. The stainless steel version is fully machined, not sintered or cast.

These have a DLC (diamond-like coating) coating, which makes them glide better and have lent the name "stealth." These stainless steel versions have cosmetic flaws and have an industrial appearance, with tooling marks and less refined finishes. As someone used to Merkur razors, the marks and "blemishes" seem to be within Merkur's regular release tolerances.

This is a very heavy (137g) and substantial razor. It feels every bit of a stainless steel razor. Its substantial weight helps the razor shave efficiently. I don't know if they are still being released, but I know that when I got mine, Joe had been releasing them slowly over several weeks. These (if they are going to be put into production) would sell for $199, but since its a prototype, I purchased it for $99. I've only shaved with it for a few days, so I would like to recoup my purchase price: $99. SOLD! Thanks blzrfn and TSN!

This price includes shipping to USA and Canada. I will ship this in the USA via Priority Mail with Tracking. I usually ship via First Class mail to Canada, which also includes tracking. For international buyers, I usually ship at my cost, but I would need to double-check that it wouldn't cost me too much. It is a very heavy razor and international postage is determined by weight.

As always, feel free to comment on my description and pricing in this thread. Otherwise, please PM me.

Thanks for looking,
Josh

Josh. What a beauty and a great price to boot. I know many of the first batch of slants were being sold at quite a profit. Wish I had the funds but I'm sure it's already sold anyways. Smile

I think within 1 minute. I messaged less than 2 minutes after it was posted and didn't get a response.
