Here's some photos of my recently acquired Single Ring with Brit Patent No on the handle.
The serial No on the inner barrel is 974709 this makes it more likely a product of Boston with a date of 1907.
The outer shipper has a matching date code.
There's a box of new 3 hole blades made in Canada date code 109
There's some used blades in another box with 1916 and 1917 date codes.
I've cleaned the razor in my ultrasonic cleaner with Fairy liquid (same as Dawn) and polished with Silver wadding to take the black tarnish off.
The Black and Brown coloured case is missing the stud closure I polished the case with some wax shoe polish to give some protection and even the colour up.

Stunning condition and the outer shipper really makes it a complete set. With the cleaning it really looks like museum grade hardware you've got there! Congratulations on a fine acquisition!

Very nice, the shipping box is icing on the cake. The single ring one of my favorites.
