I have a beautiful Rooney Finest 3/3 that is a marvelously large brush. The trouble is it's just a bit too large for me. I am interested in trading it for one of the following brushes. Please no offers to buy or offers to trade if the items offered are not the brushes specified.
1. Rooney Finest style 1 size 2 or size 3.
2. Simpson's Somerset Chubby 2 Manchurian.
3. Morris & Forndran 2XL or 3XL with Rooney Finest hair. This was a very limited group of brushes that Classic Shaving released a while back and is not Lee's current Finest hair offering.
Here are a few pictures of this spectacular brush, enjoy. Thanks.

Ooooohhhhhh..... What are the characteristics of that brush? I have a 1/2 in Finest, and it is hands-down the best brush I own. Softest, soft tips. The backbone of a Finest, but absolutely no hint of scritch or scratch whatsoever. I have a Finest 3/2 that is crazy nice, but the tips aren't quite as soft.

I've been told that Rooney Finests usually have a little bit o'the scratch. I have a sample size of only two, so I don't have data to extrapolate. :-D

The brush definitely feels like a Rooney Finest, ie. a little bit of scritch, surrounded by a pleasant face feel, good backbone and great lather release. This scritch is in no way offensive to my face it is just one of the characteristics that I have noticed that has been consistent in the Rooney Finests I have used. But it lathers beautifully, particularly if you fancy bowl lathering.

Thank you Nathan for the very kind comment, and of course GLWTS. Also if you and your wife ever find yourselves returning to Caramoor let me know, maybe we can chat about shaving while seeing a performance Lightbulb .... I live literally down the street

Thank you, Nathan.
That should be an impressive brush, and very well suited for bowl lathering. If I didn't already have a 3/2 with a 61mm loft, I'd definitely be all over this one.

Would love to do that Bob! In fact, I think her manager is in talks with Caramoor about something next year. We'll see what pans out and I'll keep you informed.
