I was just at the L'Occitane site and they have the Cade brush for just $30.00. What gives there? I wonder why?

Thanks for the heads up, op.
$32.10 shipped. Seems like a great price for a very well received brush.

I just bought 2 to give as gifts to some friends that I helped get started this year with traditional shaving. I can't wait to give these as gifts.

Well , this is very confusing , then
Maybe they're just selling the remaining existences.30 dollars is a slap on the face to other customers who live in UK and have to paid 75 pounds for the same brush. In Spain cost 43 euros still (around the 55 dollars used to cost here).

Wow, great price!

They are still $100 AUD here in Australia (which is about $90 US)...

Makes the prices direct from Plisson harder to swallow (despite the nicer handle options).

At the Plisson website, what appears to be the exact same brush, costs 99€. That really is a big difference, specially considering that when they sell directly to the consumer they have no middle man making his profit (AKA L'Occitane).

You are very right about it , 29 euros now cost in Spain.

I feel , on a way , this is a mockery to customers from Plisson. While I have truly enjoy its brushes in the past , and I can see their quality for what they are (both badger and synthetic) , we pay for the "mystique".

Just bought a Plisson at a L'Ocitane outlet in Canada for $58 CAD. It was only labeled Plisson not both Plisson and L'Ocitane.

With any of the old line makers you are definitely paying in part for the mystique/name. After all, what good is having a reputation if you can't make money off it in business?

Bob

Look again, gentlemen. I got the Occitane system to send me an e-mail alert when the item was back in stock, and it came just a little while ago...so I pounced.

Had one in cart and it got tossed out.

As in I tried to finish the transaction and it wasn't in my cart at the end.
