The local camera club handed out photo assignments and I chose... well the video explains it all.

There is one totally synthetic photo in the stack, and 2 IR photos (hint: they are see through and quite green). This is definitely how I see the world. I enjoy fine details. But that's photography. The good stuff lays bare the photographer. Just like good writing exposes the writer. If it works for others, so much the better.

Initially I dreaded this assignment (see the last 3 sentences above), but then I realized that I had to make it mine and stretch to encompass it. Previously with self imposed assignments I always chose what was easy. In the end I was quite happy with the way it turned out and happy that I took part. Feel free to let me know how you like it even if you hate it.

I did ask what the subject actually was since it was so vague. I got a shrug of the shoulders and that was the best answer I could have been given.

Be sure your speakers are turned on and up. Go to your fullest screen possible. Then...

If it doesn't play for you I have no solution.

I don't know if it's possible with DropBox, but if it can be downloaded and played outside of the web browser that's the best way.

Great job! That was just terrific. Someone can lose themselves with a good closeup lens, as you gain a whole new perspective of the world. The photos were great, and the video was equally impressive. Congratulations.

I couldn't get it to play on Mozilla. I guess I might try Chromium to see. Blush

Ahh, look at that! The video finally kicked in a few minutes ago! Biggrin

Well done, Brian!

Well Done Brian. I'm a sucker for macro flower shots, I just want to print them all on large canvas!
