Sunday Morning
Razor: Snail Forge Alien2 8/8
Strop: Torolf
Brush: Edwin Jagger XL Synthetic
Lather: CRSW Spiced Amber
Astringent: Swiss Pitralon
Finish: L'Occitane Ambre Santal

Snail Forge razors are made by a Belgian artisan, Bruno van Dooren, and are terrific shavers. Bruno, a member on SRP, also makes blades that are partially done, leaving the final polish and scales up to the customer. I don't have the knowledge or skills for such an endeavor, but it's a fun opportunity for those who do.

Sunday:
Hot shower
Large Horsehair Barbershop
Super Speed/Sharp day 7
De Vergulde Hand SS
Lubriderm Unscented Moisturizer
Booster Iced Lime AS
Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui EdT
Yes, believe it or not, no mentholated stuff for this shave. It's been a long time that I haven't used my VGH soap which is one of the finest in Europe and the oldest known shaving soap in the world. This great stuff has been around for over 450 years and it's the most famous shaving soap in Holland, where it comes from. The Booster Iced Lime is a lovely Canadian classic - a great scent and lots of skincare. Although it has no menthol, it's still fairly cooling. It's sold in some barbershops here in Montreal. My wife hates the scent, but I absolutely love it. I'm hoping the Sharp blade doesn't give up the ghost on me like the one I used last Sunday did. I'll try to give a more detailed report tomorrow at some point. Wish me luck, guys!
