This is the most aggressive DE razor I have yet to use. The head is from Giesen & Forsthoff #931 and according to the vendor is made of brass and chrome. The top plate width is 18 mm vs 18.8 mm for the Muhle R41 2011' model. It's almost like shaving without a guard and the blade is dramatically bent similar to a Joris. The handle pictured is stainless steel but I have switched to a generic bulldog. Two passes is all that is required but did leave me with several tiny weepers. I still love this razor.

Most aggressive head I have owned. Makes the H1 look like child's play. Even more aggressive then the 2011' R41 as the 41 top plate measures about 18.8 mm across and this razor's top plate is approx 18.00 mm across. Between the top plate and safety guard is looks like the Grand Canyon.
