My two new acquisitions arrived . I am very happy with my MF2 same specs as CH2 . Mr. Lee work is outstanding.

Lastly, MY CH2 munchurian is an excellent brush. I liked the feel on my face.

Someone's been a busy bee lately! Cool

Outstanding acquisitions you have there, seriously luxurious tools you have now with a CH2 Manchurian and a MF!

whats the hair type, Blonde Badger? Or Heritage?

Enjoy them Exclamation

Lovely brushes! Congratulations on acquiring both! If you are anything like me, with clear preferences for brush density, good backbone, some scrub without scritch (read massage) you will absolutely love the Manchurian. It may even become your favorite brush. The more I am at this game the more Simpson Manchurian I acquire and the less of any other brush I keep around. Too bad they are on the pricey side! Enjoy them both!

Yes . I needed to find work because I am bored :-) and spending too much time on marks/simpson twitter account.

Answer to your question : finest

I liked the feel of finest . It's nice . The knot size is 27mm same as ch2 Muchurian but munchurian appears more dense.

Thanks

Great score with the M&F and I'm pleased you like the CH2 also.

The Finest hair Lee is currently providing is incredibly soft...totally scritch free.

I completely know what you mean, in between meetings or need something different to look at I'm here and on the twitter account lol so that's extremely dangerous for sure. But at least your den will be awesome Number_one haha

Would like to hear your description of Finest now that you can compare the 2 hair types Smile because you have time Biggrin

David, so it sounds like a better backbone (?) Simpson Two Band if there's no scritch and extremely soft. OR is it something closer to Manchurian without the gentle scrub that Manchurian has?

The new Finest brush I used this morning has the softness of Simpson's 2-Band, with more backbone. Definitely no comparison to Manchurian.

I use the MANchurian knots when I'm feeling manly … cutting down trees, building stuff, and dressing in black leather pants.

I use the MUNCHurian knots when I'm feeling very hungry late at night. Normally for grazing snacks, like chocolate covered pretzels, Lucky Charms, or Choco Tacos.

YMMV Ravi …
