Just received D3 two band. The brush is awesome and very soft.
I liked the backbone of Manchurian but two band is pure luxury.

I agreed with David assessment that M&F finest is almost same as silvertip two band.

Beautiful brushes ... and yes, both knots excel in their own way.

Congratulations, Mustafa.

The 2-Band hair is definitely luxurious in softness. The current M&F Finest just pushes the backbone slightly further towards Manchurian, which is my personal preference.

I'd go for the one on the right. In that knot size I'd get better use from a fan shape. Beautiful brushes!

Simpson 2-Band is always supplied in a bulb knot to compensate for the lesser backbone. Manchurian comes as hybrid/Fan because of its less flexibility.

May need to finally try to expand my den to get a M&F Finest. That's perking my interest that its two band feel but with the strength of Manchurian. That would explain why most of the knots are hybrid/fan.

I do enjoy my Two Bands and Manchurian's very much... great Jade and MoonJava D3's

I agree that the MF finest and Simpson 2-band are both very soft and in a blind test i wouldn't be able to tell the difference when the brushes are soaked. I agree the MF finest has a touch more backbone, not stiff backbone, but springy backbone...Both are lovely in their own right Heart Enjoy those gorgeous brushes!
