Yes, that looks like German travel razors I have seen. Nice OC shave.

I had two like it. One was an Optimo, mfg by Solingen (makers of Merkur) and the other was Hoffritz. Names were on the underside of the top. Almost identical to yours.

i have the same razor including its box. i'll check it out and snap a pic when i'm home later this week. definitively of german make.

here is my version. says 'germany' under head - and 'made in germany' on box. however - ours differ slightly: tops of handle parts - and the 3 holes are of same size on mine. i would think yours is older.
