I purchased 2 tubs of this soap and I'm thinking that the scent may not be for me, so I'm selling off one tub and I'm going to wait on the other. I'm bummed out about it because I waited about a month to receive them. Oh well!

I'm asking what I paid, $55 shipped for the one tub, in the USA, via PayPal.

SPF.

It's a little too earthy for my tastes. I was expecting a bit more bourbon.

Haha. Sorry man, but vetiver bourbon is a kind of high quality vetiver oil. I don't think the soap is supposed to have any scent of bourbon (as in whiskey). I don't think you're the first to be confused by this.

silly boys. the soap smells great and is a great performer. but, if you want to smell bourbon, you must pour yourself some Pappy Van Winkle. shave first. then pour the bourbon. be safe.

I still have the second tub. I'll be using it for this evening's shave. Biggrin

It really is. I also received my Plisson synthetic. 15 seconds of load time yielded great lather. I kept adding more and more water to see how far I could stretch it.

I shaved with mine this morning and my wife comes in asking what "that dirt smell" was...I like to think of it as earthy, like a good patchouli without the Nag Champa...

You needed to finish it up with fine fresh Vetiver after shave:-)
