what do you guys use to show your photos?

I prefer open source software. I'm currently using gallery 3, with almost around 11,000 photos in my gallery, iirc. Gallery is closing shop as it hasn't been actively maintained so I'm looking for an alternative. right now I'm probably going to move to piwigo.

Andrew, I am using ImageShack, at the moment. I pay $1 per month for the premium package with consists of unlimited space with 1Tb to 4Tb for bandwith, whatever that means. Blush
11,000 pics?!!!!! Wow! Biggrin

I've used Gallery 3 in Drupal.
Haven't settled on an alternative but I'll probably check out Coppermine and Piwigo.

I have a web server in my house with as much storage space as needed. Tongue

piwigo looks way more polished and modern than coppermine. I used to use coppermine a few years back. it does the job, but it's fairly ugly to look at imho.

I'm almost 99% going to go with piwigo. I need to make some server permission changes as I'm running into issues with piwigo and then I'll convert my albums over to the new software.

Photobucket just lost about 800 of my photos and all my albums, about 40 of them. I have been active there and one day after a week not used all were gone and they had the new Buy Photos Schtick going.
Not trustworthy after all these years of good service.
YMMV

I use Lightroom 5.x for my photo editing (only when I take pics with my D5200).  I have the "hardcopy" so to speak as I am not yet comfortable paying a monthly fee for cloud based software.  As for storage I upload to Google photos.  I stick with the "standard" size as it is free unlimited storage; this is in addition to an external hard drive and usually another cloud based storage facility.
