Hi , just a quick question.

I have just won what I think is a
Schick J1 on the Bay. I'm totally new to injectors so I'm wondering if the commonly available injector blades ( on ebay ) will fit ?

Will the madness never stop ?...I hope notBiggrin

The J series is one of my favorites. I have a J1 and a J3.

Take a look here for more information.

In answer to your question about blades, yes, most injector blades will fit the J series. Schick (both old and new) Personna and even Gillette injector blades you see sometimes on eBay.

I usually get my Schick injector blades from drugstore.com

If you mean the Chinese Schick blades sold on e-Bay and elsewhere then yes, they should fit your J with no problem. They also happen to be very good blades, in my opinion.

I have two J1 injectors I have yet to try yet. one of these days. I'm going to sell one of the injectors though..no need for 2. I'll probably include an old NOS gillette injector blade set (I think that's what it is IIRC).

+1 Although i had no luck with injectors and i think the issue was the blades. i hope you have better luck. i am sticking with my open-comb razors!
