How much should I tighten the head of my safety razor after a shave(if i leave the blade inside)?

Just secure enough to keep everything together. Think about the stress on the components if you tighten a razor all the way and then leave it in a drawer. The reason most of the vintage Gillette razors have a crack in the handle at the collar.

Better....don't store the razor with a blade in it and only tighten enough to keep it securely together.

FWIW, not over tightening is a good habit to get into when the razor is in use too. There isn't much stress on the razor in use, so just tightening to get the geometry of the blade correct and so that the head doesn't spin around the handle is all that's required. More than that just over stresses the razor and isn't required.

"German-torque"...Good-n-tight. Biggrin
Tight enough to ensure it's not loose, but not tight enough to over-stress the threads/components.
